Welcome
To all who mourn and need
comfort; to all who are tired and need rest; to all who are friendless
and want friendship; to all who search after sheltering love; to all who
pray, and to all who do not, but ought to; to all who sin and need the
Savior; to whoever will come, this church says “Welcome” in the name of
Jesus Christ. |

~Adult Education~
Welcome to Our Adult
Classes
Through
Christian Education at Supplee we will provide opportunities for
seekers and life-long learners of all ages to be formed, conformed,
and transformed through personal encounter with the living Word of
God, in Scripture study, worship, prayer, community, and service. We invite children of God of all
ages to participate in age appropriate classes during our Sunday
morning education hour. Selections include Bible study, mission and
evangelism courses, family related issues, topical and book studies,
and potential new members classes.
Many other opportunities to meet
in small informal groups are offered during the week. These include
men’s groups, women’s groups, youth groups, support groups, prayer
groups, and study groups.
Current Adult
Sunday Class 8:45 a.m. in the Parlor
The Importance of
Mission and Contemporary Christian Issues
The class will be considering
mission as our calling as individuals living in our local
communities, in the nation, and in the world. We will hear the
personal account of some missionaries: Janelle and Mike McCarty who
serve in Dembi Dollo, Ethiopia and Dr. and Mrs. David Darwin,
serving in the Philippines. We will view and discuss the video,
“Amazing Grace,” and consider these challenging issues: Missing God
in the Suburbs; Culture, Love it, Leave it, Transform it; Finding
Peace in a Time of War; Is Persecution a Plus in China?; Defining
Our Role in Politics; Is Islam a Religion of Peace?, and Do
Missionaries Invite Trouble? The schedule for the weekly topic will
be posted on the bulletin board outside the Parlor. Come every week
or as often as you are able.
