Summer Schedule, June 8 – August 31 Sunday Mornings
Our church holds
Sunday worship each week, with Communion on the first Sunday of each
month. During the summer months we have only one Sunday service at 10:00
am. The Pastor and a worship assistant (a lay person) lead each service.
We use a blend of music styles - praise songs with piano accompaniment,
hymns with organ accompaniment, soloists and small music groups. Each
service is followed by refreshments on our patio.
Regular Schedule, September Through June
Sunday Mornings
Our church holds
Sunday worship each week, with Communion on the first Sunday of each
month. During most of the year, we have two services at 8:30 and 11:00
in the morning. During the summer months only one Sunday service is
held. The Pastor and a worship assistant (a lay person) lead each
service.
Since 1995, we
have been working to make the two services different from each other.
Although the same sermon is preached at both services, the 8:30 service
is now a contemporary praise service with modern music and casual dress.
The 11:00 service is more formal, with traditional hymns, creeds, and
prayers. Music at the 11:00 service features our pipe organ and senior
choir. |
