Once again this year Supplee with be a buddy church working with Jarrettown United Methodist Church who will host families for November and December. Supplee will provide transportation in the am and pm and will provide meals a few nights from 11/22 to 11/29. More information on how to sign up to volunteer is coming soon. Meanwhile, you can make sure your paperwork is in order.

We anticipate that we’ll need people to:

  • Drop off meals - You will have the option to either drop off the meal or also be the check-in person and stay and eat it with the guests.

  • Be a Check-In Host - Someone needs to be there every evening to welcome the guests and make sure they’re settled before the host leaves. Our folks don’t need to stay overnight.

  • Provide Transportation - We’ll need drivers every morning and evening to transport the guests from the church to the Ambler Day Center and back.

Signups will be required for all three duties, and the signup forms will be published soon.

Paperwork is required:

  • All volunteers must be registered with Family Promise Montco, You can do that by completing this form.

  • Check in Hosts and Drivers must also have completed the Pennsylvania background checks and Child Abuse Clearances. It’s free for volunteers, and is good for five years. The paperwork must be provided to the church office.

  • In addition to both of the above, drivers must also have a PA driving record check. If you’re on the list of approved Supplee vehicle drivers, we already have this on file.
