Where is God when I need Him?

When we look around at the pain, loss and hurt in our world and even in our own lives, we can't help but wonder, “God, don't you see this? Can't you do something about this? Where are you?”

In these four Bible study sessions, Margaret Feinberg uses fresh insights and Biblical teaching to study four verbs that Scripture uses in connection with God. When we understand God's active nature, we realize how God is always active and engaged in our lives. Even when we can't see or feel him, God is constantly on the move and working.

Sessions include:

November 25: The Great “I Am” - Your story of faith is unique. And your story of faith isn't just about when you came to know God but also how you've continued to discover God since then. This lesson will focus on the seven "I AM" statements in the New Testament.

December 2: The God Who Sees - Are you filled with hope or fear when you consider that God's eyes are always on you? This lesson focuses on six events recorded in the Gospels when human Jesus sees and reacts to people He meets.

December 9: The God Who Listens - Are there things you've stopped asking God for because you've questioned whether or not He's even listening? This lesson will look at the prayer life of King David.

December 16: The God Who Calls - Is God's calling a one time event or something God does regularly like a text message or a phone call from a friend? This lesson will look at how Jesus called His disciples in different ways.
