Welcome
Supplee Nursery School is pleased to be celebrating 50 years in 2022! Our Alumni spread around the world, with some living back here in the neighborhood sending their children to Supplee! Ours is a caring, engaging Christian preschool program for children ages 2-5 years old.
Our bright, sunny classrooms are large and all on ground level with no steps to navigate. Our class numbers are low, each with a teacher and assistant. Our staff is extremely well qualified, and each receives continuous professional development in best methods in preschool settings as well as ongoing instruction in CPR, first aid and safety practices. Our staff is very stable with our average teacher or aide having been part of Supplee for over 7 years.
The curriculum centers around the whole child, with social and personal skills, discovery lessons, science, art, music, cooking, inside and outside play woven into our lessons. The 2-3’s is a sweet year focusing largely on social interactions, with lots of hands-on learning, cooking, stories and fun. Our 3-4’s continue to focus on social skills, discovery and fun, as beginning academics are introduced. Our Pre-K classes are meant to continue to allow the child to learn how best to live in our world, respect others and themselves, and to focus on those skills that will help transition into kindergarten. The alphabet is introduced through the Wilson Fundations Program which is continued in almost all of our local kindergartens, making it a smooth transition for our children. Our love of nature is shared with the children as we hatch chickens, morph butterflies, plant gardens or as we take nature walks around our campus.
We have a beautiful, large playground, and also enjoy the use of our upper field and big wheel bikes.
Our Christian program celebrates God’s love for each of us and is very inclusive of all. Admissions are made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency) or sex.
